I wanted to like it. I worked for a Greek family for 15 years family style restaurant. I have to say that the food tasted old, sorry to say that. Greek salad wasnt bad. The chocolate cream pie was delicious other than that I didnt care for it very much

The salad bar reminded me of salads at Grandpas house where we always had pickled beets and bean salad. All of the soups were homemade and delicious. The chopped steak had a chargrilled taste and the baked potato was perfect. There are lots of menu selections, and the decor reminded us of the 70s, a blast from the past!
Firat time at Athens and it wont be our last. Our waitress Lisa was exceptional. I had the Greek variety combo. Excellent way to try a variety of their Greek dishes. My husband had the liver and onions Both were very good. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Ive been to many different Greek restaurants and Athens in Franklin has been my favorite out of them all. The food is always flavorful and brought out hot. The Greek salad is delicious as well as it has the best tasting feta cheese and dressing. I would recommend Athens to anyone looking for the best tasting authentic Greek food.
Amazing authentic food. The gyro and Greek salad were amazing. My friend had the salad bar and the salad and soup were great. I cant wait to come back!
We visited friends and picked the Black Olive for our 1st time visit. Restaurant was very clean, atmosphere was very nice! The service was outstanding! The food was very good and a lot of it!! We ordered mainly off the lunch menu! Two Thumbs Up ! Well be back!!
Great fresh made Fried Chicken and the Gyro was very tasty also. Second time eating here, and were definitely coming back. Prices are in line with other places, and the service was fantastic. Little outdated, but we love the nostalgia. Soup Salad Bar is a must.
